Hi everyone. I’m usually a lurker, but I thought I’d share with everyone my big goal for the last few months of 2018.
Today I was calculating some weight projections to see what my CI/CO needed to be (haven’t been losing as much, so I knew I needed to readjust). And then I realized that to hit my halfway point for GW I only needed to lose 21 lbs!! I remember when I first started in May I thought 50 lbs lost would take forever, and I’m already over halfway there!
So to push myself I’m setting a new goal of 21 lbs lost from September 21 to November 21. I think it’s doable for me and also a safe weight loss at just over 2lbs a week. I also love the numeric line up I’ve got going!
Some other cool and personal reasons for this goal: 1. My favorite song is “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire. I’ve been singing “Do you remember the 21st night of September?” all day. 2. November 21 is the day before Thanksgiving! Would love for my family to see my progress during the holidays. 3. Black Friday shopping for new clothes possibly!
I hope to stay motivated and on track for this goal. I already feel very optimistic and ready for this change. Feel free to join in with me or message me about your own personal goals. I’d love to talk to more people on this subreddit!
