I finally found what works! I’m not miserable and I’m down 9 pounds in two weeks

So my boyfriends cousin is getting married in a few months and she has been losing weight like crazy! I finally asked her what her secret was and she told me she eats two meals a day once at noon and once before 7pm and she hits the gym when she can. I took this info and made a strict plan.

Basically my days have gone like this 6-9am wake up, coffee with honey, cinnamon and almond milk. 11-12 eat a small filling lunch, most of the days it’s been an avocado with a small seasoned chicken breast with salt and pepper OR a piece of toast with peanut butter, sliced banana and honey drizzled on top. Water all day 5-7pm dinner which has mostly consisted of steak and veggies, avocado and chicken, a fun salad (steak, boiled eggs, bacon, cheese mmm)

If I’m craving dessert I’ll have a banana with peanut butter, or an ice drink (0 calories and so yummy)

Last night I had a couple drinks (whiskey and coke 0) and had the drunchies so I heated up a couple pieces of lunch meat with parm and shredded cheese on top and I was satisfied and I don’t feel guilty.

I’ve also been hitting the gym 5 days a week because I’m training to become a firefighter as well which I’m sure has helped immensely with my weight loss but I doubt it’s necessary with the calorie deficit I’m doing. While at the gym I mix half Gatorade half water and it keeps me going my whole work out.

Doing this has kept me satisfied all day, I’m not starving, I feel better than I have in SO long and I’m so excited to finally be losing some weight that I’ve gained over the past year and a half. I hope this helps someone! I’m a 5’3 female, Started all of this weighing 160 pounds and I weighed on this morning at 151.8!!!!!!!! My goal is 140-145 before the end of October.
