Ok some quick stats:
I'm 29, I am 6'4" and I weigh 400 pounds.
I am doing keto and eating around 1300-1600 calories a day. Crazy low I know, but on keto I feel full all the time and seem to have tons of energy. Last year at this time I was 300 pounds and VERY active (I did hard manual labor every day to the tune of 2000-3000 calories burned according to my apple watch). Now I am working from home so my activity level has dropped to zero. I have a hard time making time for working out, which is why I decided to try keto again.
I've checked some of these weight loss calculators and they say to lose 2 pounds per week I need to eat around 2400 calories per day. Now I'm not trying to push it super hard by eating so few calories, I just end up really low on calories by eating keto. So going by the calculators recommendations I should be shedding weight like a lunatic, right?
Well, I've been at this diet for about 2 months now and I do feel like I've lost a little weight (maybe 10 pounds), but nowhere near where I think I should be. My keto diet is pretty good, I eat lots of greens, meat, etc. I hit all my macros every day. My net carbs are usually around 20-25 with bad days approaching 30 carbs. I get 8 hours of sleep and I drink around 2-3 liters of water per day (I don't pursue this, I'm just a very thirsty boy.)
What could my issue be? Even though I'm not working out, I feel like something else is wrong.
