Learned an important calorie counting lesson this past week

I've been using Noom to calorie count since March 1st; this is really my first ever successful weightloss attempt in my life. I've been losing weight at a decent pace and my daily goal/calorie limit is 1200 (like a lot of short women!). It's been going pretty well, but most days I let myself eat more around 1300, maybe once a week or so going up to 1500 or 1600. Well, this past week I tried to be very strict about not going past 1200 – and I saw a huge difference in terms of my weekly weight loss.

I only weigh myself twice a week (to try to keep myself from unheathily obsessing so much) and with actually being strict with myself, I saw nearly half-pound difference week-over-week. Lesson extremely learned! I'm getting a food scale on Friday and I'm looking forward to being even more accurate in my calorie log.
