NEWBIE Help *weeps*

Hellloooo!! So I'm F size 20 and I would like to get to around a size 12, I've been reading up on weight loss for years but now it's finally clicked that my habits have to change and I'm looking for any advice/ inspiration?

Outside of quarantine I'm still a hermit and job wise I'm a bar tender so normally on my feet for six hours a day, but during the past two month I've gone from a steady 16/18 to 20/22 and i feel so unhealthy, I love reading success stories they really make me want to change! But I'm also struggling to change my eating habit.

I usually go frozen food because it's cheaper and filling, I don't normally have breakfast, if I do it's a treat of egg and bacon bagels but normally I have dinner in the evening and snack whenever I feel peckish. How did you sort things out? what are your alternatives? How did you stop comfort eating? People keep saying not to worry about putting weight on during quarantine but I want a general LIFE change not just because of all this, would be great if someone could give me some ideas? I absolutely love vegetables and fruit etc so I'm open to them for actual meal ideas etc
