mom’s food or food i cook myself?

i am 17F, living with my parents as i leave for university in a few months. i’ve been on the weight loss grind for about a year now, and cook all my meals by myself as i find it easier to count calories and macros that way.

the thing is- i’ve been thinking about something for a while now: i will only be living with my family for a few more months, then i will move out to another country actually. i’m indian, and ever since i started making my own food i stopped making indian cuisine and the guilt is horrible. but the food i make now is mostly western and fits my calorie limit so ahHh i don’t know what to do.

my family (parents and sister) eat their meals which my mom cooks together, while i make mine and eat alone.

do you think i should start eating with them? i have a feeling my mom might be feeling hurt by this but not expressing it, and that’s the last thing i want.

what should i do?
