Bad sleep pattern since I started losing weight

21 F / 5'1 / SW: 168.9 lbs / CW: 162 lbs

I've read a lot of articles saying that sleep is good for weight loss. But since I started eating healthier, drinking more water, and exercising regularly (logging around 1200 calories a day), I haven't been sleeping well.

Most days I'd sleep at 5am and wake up at 9am. On days I only get 4 hours of sleep, I'd still sleep at 5am the next day because I don't feel sleepy at all. I usually just find some work to do from 1-5am (and it's great because I'm getting so much done ahead of time BUT I JUST WANT TO SLEEP REGULARLY)

Part of me is thinking that because I've cut off emotional eating as a coping mechanism, my mind is looking for another. I used to sleep well before I start making changes with my diet and habits. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if this is normal. Any advice?
