I know this is obvious. I know you already know that finding an exercise you love will make it easier. But I am the laziest person I know and have never been able to motivate myself to work out more than once a week, let alone try a bunch of different things.
Enter Ring Fit Adventure! I LOVE this game! I'm burning close to 500 calories a day with two hours of working out (I'm 5'3" and pretty sedentary, so this is crazy for me.) I've worked out every day this week (taking a rest day tomorrow). THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN FOR ME. I don't think I could tell you a time in my life when I burned that much in a workout, let alone multiple days in a row.
I have extra calories every day. For the past week I took advantage of it and stressed a little bit less about my calories per meal. This week I'm doubling down a little bit now that I'm motivated & using those calories to accelerate my weight loss.
Just felt like sharing. Like I said, this isn't revolutionary -- but maybe it's encouragement for another lazy person like myself to keep searching for that thing that will make this a little bit easier. :)
