Lifestyle habits we currently practice

I thought it might be nice to compile a list of “the little things” we already do that promote long, healthy lives. Things we might take for granted because we have done them for so long, maybe since childhood, or perhaps we picked up a tip along the way and now it’s just become a natural thing to do.

It’s easy to say weight loss is a “lifestyle change,” but so many folks can’t visualize what that is in a day-to-day context. Some think it must mean sitting down to dinner and forcing yourself to eat a single pea on a plate, or running a half marathon every evening until it kills you. Most of us already have at least some small, daily healthy habits, but they’re so ingrained we don’t even realize we’re doing them. I figure if we sat and thought about it for a minute, there’s probably loads of tips out there that could help others who might not have even thought to try them.
