I’ve (30/m) been a lurker for a while but had the hardest time sticking to something. Until I got an Apple Watch for Christmas last year. I’ve always wanted to lose some weight, SW was 255, because I was constantly out of breath and just didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin.
The Apple Watch gives me not only daily marks to hit, but monthly goals as well to mix things up. As of right now from the first of the year I’m down 21 pounds, which is a good start!
Last night was the first time someone has actually pointed out my weight loss. A buddy of mine looked at me and said “holy shit, how much weight have you lost? You look good!” Which just skyrocketed my confidence in what I’ve been doing.
This isn’t just a post to brag about the work I’ve been putting in, but to show people that sticking with something definitely pays off, maybe not right away, but in the long run.
