unexpected weight loss - am i losing muscle?

so since quarantine happened i havent been able to go to the gym at all, i’m usually pretty active - 10,000k + steps per day, strength training 3-5 days per week. this has now had to drop down to less than 3k steps per day and i’m doing less intense home workouts with light weights and resistance bands, also restorative yoga. my diet has been all over the place. some days im able to stick to my 1400 calorie goal, some days im under, some days i say “fuck it” and eat all the snacks/pizza/chocolate i want and dont track at all. because of eating a ton of high calorie junk pretty often in quarantine i was certain my weight loss progress would slow down, it had already slowed a bit as i get closer and closer to my goal of 140lbs. however, the scale showed today that since april 1st i have gone from 173lbs to 161lbs - wtf??? i’m not complaining but this is totally unexpected and is a pretty big loss for me. is it possible that i’m losing muscle rather than fat???? i’m super worried that’s the reason behind the unexpected losses because i’m not training anywhere near as intensely as i was. my measurements haven’t changed (sob) and i don’t look any different as far as i can tell :( any thoughts/advice would be super appreciated! (im 23F 5’7, hw: 235lbs if thats relevant!)
