Is my plan helping or hindering weight loss?

F/28/5'7 SW: 160lbs CW:150lbs GW:135lbs

Hi! I have been in a calorie deficit, and calorie counting all of my meals. I eat around 1200-1300 a day. I use the Lose It app. All of my meals are from a meal delivery service so counting calories is easy (i.e. I don't have to weigh anything out).

The main reason I work out is because I don't want to be sedentary all day. Because I work from home, I don't get out of the house much, and it's very cold where I live, so going on walks doesn't happen except on warm days.

Instead, the way I move my body is by doing Barre workouts for about an hour after work every day. I would consider it strength training - it's a lot of repetitive body weight movements and my legs, butt, abs, and arms are sore almost every day after doing them.

My question is, does working out help or hinder weight loss? I can see my body becoming stronger and more toned, but the weight on the scale is slow to move. I still lose some, just not very fast.

Thanks for your help!
