Do you make pauses throughout your weight loss journey?

Hello, I started my weight loss on January 2021. I had 128 pounds to lose to reach my normal healthy weight (what I used to weight before my rapid weight gain).

So far I’ve lost 92 pounds and I’ve finally reached overweight category.

These past few weeks I’ve been maintaining the weight and I’m considering eating on maintenance for a few more weeks.

The question here is, is this OK to do? Do you make pauses if you have a long journey? Is it difficult to restart a caloric deficit afterwards? Should I keep myself in a small caloric deficit anyway as to not lose the thrust?
