Unintentionally too low of a deficit?

Hi! First time posting here.

I’ve been revamping my fitness journey this past month and kinda wanna hear some other thoughts on it.

I’m a 5’7” female and started around 177lbs. I’ve been doing HIIT workouts (at orange theory) 2-3 times a week burning ~550 calories per class and running outside 2-3 other days a week, burning somewhere around 400. Otherwise I work a desk job so I don’t move around a whole bunch during the week but try to be semi active on the weekends.

Some other context is that I take a stimulant for ADHD treatment 5-6 days a week, which significantly reduces my appetite 9a-6pm. Don’t worry, I still eat lunch but can’t consume too much without getting nauseous.

I calorie count casually, meaning that I’ll be conscious of it sometimes but not worry most of the time and I try to just make eating choices that include ingredients that make me feel good. Recently I’ve been more curious and found that I’ve been consuming 1300-1600 naturally with a small or no breakfast, a smaller lunch, and a larger dinner. I’ve heard that eating your biggest meal at the end of the day isn’t the best for weight loss, but that’s just kinda when my body naturally wants to eat.

I’ve been wearing a Fitbit for 2+ years and with my current workout schedule I’m burning an average of maybe 2750 cals a day.

That puts me at a deficit of like 1250 a day, is that too high? I don’t feel weak at all and not like I’m starving myself at all. I’ve been at the workout routine for about 4 weeks now and I’m at 171lbs. My first goal is 159lbs to get out of the “overweight” BMI zone and to be able to run longer distances without getting winded.

I just don’t want to be like, accidentally throwing myself into starvation mode or hurting myself even though I feel great.

Any advice or tips for if I should modify what I’m doing?
