Between September 2019 and March 2020 I gained 33lbs due to medication and stress eating, which made me reach my all-time highest weight of 156 lbs (I’m 5’5F). Around two and a half months ago I had a wake-up call and realized how much I hated my current physique so I planned a cut in order to go back to my previous weight. To be honest I’ve been really struggling to diet and there have definitely been a few binges that tempted me to give up, but I’m thankful I didn’t because as of today I have reached 139 lbs, which means I’m halfway through my journey to 123lbs. I know it doesn’t sound like much, for instance I browse subs like r/fasting and r/omad a lot and I constantly see people losing like 50lbs in one month, but to me it’s a huge achievement because I have serious issues with binging and portion control. It’s incredibly hard for me to force myself to eat less and healthier, but rn I’m more motivated than ever because my efforts have finally paid off and I can’t wait to reach my GW.
