Hello everybody,
I've always been a chubby/fat guy, except for 2 years about a decade ago. Since January last year I've gained quite a lot. So know I've decided that I wanna drop some serious weight.
I got super hyped by lurking on this reddit and read all the (success and struggle) stories.
I signed up for the gym to lift some weights and do some cardio. I installed MyFitnessPal and tracked everything I ate/drank for the last 7 days. I like how easy counting the calories actually can be.
I do have a question about the Macro's. Last week I consumed on average, 55% carbs, 29% fat and 17% protein. I didn't really adjust my meals to the macros and wonder how bad this is. Since I'm higher in my carbs, and lower in protein than MFP suggests. The app recommends 50% carbs, 30% fat and 20% protein.
