A little background: 32, F, CW: 268 GW: 145. I've been slowly gaining weight since I married my husband and had two kids, but I've been overweight basically my whole life. I have had issues with anorexia and binging . I'm trying (for the 100th time) to do CICO. I'm using MyFitnessPal. I set it to 1.5 pounds a week to give me a better chance at success. I've tried 2lbs/wk before and I was too hungry, and ended up binging. I'm a week in and feeling rather satisfied, but I am starting to feel obsessive. Thinking about calories and logging too much. Thinking about my weight loss efforts too much. This is a bad pattern for me that can lead to anorexia and then binging and stopping the calorie counting.
Any of you have this issue? How do you combat the obsessive tendencies so you can stick with it?
