Hi all, Long time follower of this sub but recently started my health journey 1 month ago. I am a 25 F and I currently weigh 159.2lb and stand at 5' 8" tall, my goal weight is 145 lbs.
1 month ago I began working out, sometimes 2x a day, and counting calories strictly. I've calculated on multiple websites my TDEE being around 2300 factoring the amount of exercise I've been doing so my caloric deficit has been around 1700-1800 for these last 4 weeks. However the scale hasn't moved at all and it is extremely frustrating.
My exercise routine is usually some form of at home resistance band, HITT or circuit workouts I find on YouTube and those I'll typically do for 30-45 min sessions. Then I will go to the gym later in the day and walk at 3 speed on the treadmill at 12 incline for about 35 mins (not holding on to the hand bars). After that I do some weight training for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. I don't have a set lift schedule but I will always work different parts of my body each session. I go to the gym 5 days a week.
I seriously do not know what I am doing wrong and it feels very frustrating to not see the scale move. I have taken 3 progress pictures and while there is a slight visible difference between my first photo and the last 2, it really isn't much at all. I am getting pretty discouraged that I'm doing something wrong. I've done the keto diet in the past starting at 190lbs and I got all the way down to 160lbs where I maintained for a year up until now and I wanted to lose the extra 15 lbs in a healthier, more sustainable way but I'm just not sure what's going on with my body.
If anyone has any tips or advice for me I would be eternally grateful. The improvements I've seen in my mental health and mindset have been great since going to the gym, but it is just very disappointing that I'm not seeing at least 1 or 2 lbs of weight loss to show for it.
