I HAVE FINALLY COMPLETED MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY

After over 11 months, I have finally managed to lose 100 lbs. I started going to gym on 1st January and I was 253 lbs . I'm 5'10" 18y, male. In my country rice is a staple food and sometimes we eat it thrice a day. I loved rice and any dishes related to rice. But before I knew I had become 253 lbs. I decided that it was high time I lose my weight and initially my goal was to become 180 lbs. So, I started of by cutting rice and sugar completely. I used to have oats for breakfast, boiled vegetables and chicken for lunch and dinner (at 7 pm). I spent 3 hours at the gym daily. However, I had to quit the gym at the beginning of March due to the pandemic. I again changed my diet, tea and biscuits for breakfast, corn flakes for lunch and cucumbers and apple for dinner. I did all of my exercises at home including planks,sit ups, leg raises, squats and bicycles etc. I have continued this till today and now I am finally 153 lbs. Although, many may think that I'm only at my normal weight, I consider this my biggest achievement although I have 2 national awards as well. I've been through hell for the past 11 months for this. I've never been more confident about my looks as I am now. Even in April, I couldn't do a single push up but now I can do 60 push ups continuously and can hold the standard plank for over 30 min. I did it and I'm proud of myself for persevering. If anyone's trying to lose weight and you are thinking that it's a very tiring and lengthy process, trust me brother, it's worth it. You can do it!
