I've struggled with restricting and binging throughout my weight loss journey and eventually developed an unhealthy relationship with food over the past year but I'm trying to fix it slowly. Through the help of this community, I learned that while doing CICO, creating a range for myself for the amount of calories I'm consuming everyday can be very helpful. This way, I won't be stressed about under-eating and over-eating. I've also been trying to make better food choices that can help satiate me and also satisfy my cravings.
With that said, I think frozen bananas are quite a delicious alternative for ice cream...or am I the only one who thinks that? I just slice one banana into small bite pieces, put them in a container, and into the freezer they go. I eat them for dessert after dinner instead of eating ice cream and it definitely satisfies my sugar cravings. What are some healthy alternatives for foods that you know of or have tried and enjoyed? Suggestions are welcomed :)
