I have an idea, need someone to tell me if it's a good one or not.

Hi there! So I'll just get into it. I'm on a weight loss journey, however, I also vape. I've found that my vaping does not make my working out...well....work out so great. I need oxygen!! So, here's my crazy idea: If I get the craving to hit my vape, instead of picking it up, I run on my elliptical for like 2 minutes (be kind! i'm a chub chub, 2 minutes is like....hard and stuff and I intend to increase the time as I go. Also, I use my elliptical for my warm ups before my strength training so I've already put in some time on it for the day). My thoughts are that perhaps I will be able to switch my vaping addiction into a running addiction of sorts. When I think I need to smoke, slowly, I will train my brain to think that I need to run. Anyway, there's my crazy idea. I don't know exactly what I'm doing with my life, but I'm trying to figure it out. I am going to make a change this time. I'm motivated and excited about what I KNOW I can accomplish. Any advice or just someone else's thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :D
