I’m male, 33, 6’4, and over 500lbs.

I’ve spent the last three years working with doctors to lose weight. It was a little on and off but mostly on until 6 months ago. I’m disabled due to chronic pain from an auto accident and due to my sedentary lifestyle on top of a body that doesn’t function correctly, I cannot lose weight.

I can give several extreme examples, but directly to the point, at 500lbs I went on a strict keto diet 1800 calories daily intake. Over 18 months of that, I lost 40 lbs. the biggest issue being that almost all insurance companies require consistent month to month weight loss before they will help. No matter how I diet, my body will not consistently lose weight every month. (Just to prove this to myself, I spent two weeks eating under 1000 calories a day of my strict keto diet and I gained 3lbs at the end of it).

My testosterone is low but I can take prescribed injections. I know I need to add exercise but it is very painful, and I have no money to access equipment that wouldn’t be painful. (Disabled from my car accident, but keep getting denied by SSI because my mental capacity is fine and I’m in my thirties).

I tried getting a job over the summer, by winter it was too painful and I had to quit.

The long and short of it is, I’m going to die. I fortunately have no major health problems due to obesity yet, but that cannot last forever. I need help. I need a diet plan that works. I need an exercise plan I can do. I need help. I’ve been to 4 doctors and 2 nutritionists. I’ve mapped my food in take, I can easily cut all sugar and simple carbs from my diet. I’ll do whatever I can to be healthy. But I need help.
