40/M/6’5” with a SW of 138.2kg and a targeted weight loss of 0.8kgs per week so according to TDEE calculators I have a pretty generous allowance (well I think so)
I had a bad day today but tried to style it out and still managed to just stay below my total calorie allowance for the day.
However the food I had was garbage and I’ve eaten a lot less than I would normally to stay under.
Other than the risk of still being hungry later in the day and imploding “I’ve had a bad day so why not go all out” is being under the calorie limit enough to lose weight, or is also about the types of food you are eating.
I’m not planning to do this again, and I’m glad I stuck to counting the calories when I knew the food I was eating would look scary number wise, but what I’m worried about is beating myself up of bad planning happens and I get into another situation like today.
