My supervisor thinks i’m above her because I rarely eat the junk food that’s brought into the office

It feels like there’s no winning in corporate lol! I’m down 45lbs and feeling good. I didn’t brag about being on a weight loss journey or tell anyone but I received a few compliments about looking slimmer which was nice. My supervisor on the hand, can be a lot at times but you can tell she has good intentions.

Everyday we have a guy that sells food in a cart come by our job and I never go out with them because I don’t want to spend money and I don’t feel like guesstimating my calories all the time. He comes everyday and like clockwork they’re out there buying whatever delicious food he has. I bought a breakfast sandwich a while ago just to see and that was it but she keeps making comments about me never going out there or saying that i’m missing out and that not every street cart is dirty (which I never said lol).

Today and tomorrow the company is having a BBQ for the hard workers and while it was tempting to grab some food I politely declined because I meal prepped and have to stay good for an upcoming wedding. Of course I was met with, “oh come on , one so and so won’t kill you” “the food will be fresh and good” like I know it will be but I can’t fold like I used to lol 🥲

Restarted my weight loss journey with VR Fitness (Supernatural on Quest 3) and I'm hooked!

M 36 / SW: 196 / CW: 196 / GW: 150

I recently started back up on my weight loss journey again after being away from that for a couple of years.

This past Thursday, I found the one and only thing that I really love to do that makes me look forward to working out everyday. And right from home too!

It's called Supernatural Fitness which is on VR only. It uses your body and arms/hands to hit targets and dodge while listening to a playlist of songs to whichever workout you chose, goes from low, medium, to hard difficulties. One style, boxing, is literally boxing, you dodge and punch and jab and use two stances and always raise your hands up to a guard. The other style, Flow, you have like sabers you hit targets with and do more squats and lunges here for dodging. It feels like I'm back in DDR kinda again from the past (My favorite pastime). It's a lot of fun and losing myself in the music makes me forget I'm even burning calories, gets me pumped up like I'm a beast at it. I just want to keep jumping in, today I knocked out 3 workouts for a total of 779 calories burned (I have a chest strap I bought too that checks your heart monitor and calories burned, total time worked out, when connected to the phone and the supernatural app.)

My first couple of days were preeeeetty sore. But I adapted quickly and in full swing again because of muscle memory from fitness in the past. So, now I enjoy all my workouts for the calories burned.

My next goal milestone is to lose those 6 pounds and make it to 190 and it a lot of week streaks (3 days a week, but I do more) on Supernatural.

Has anyone else tried VR for fitness? And, would love to hear how others are mixing fun workouts into their routines!

Share what you eat in a day please!!

Those who have lost weight (or at least not gained) please feel free to share the following, I could really use the advice and perspective:

  • What do you eat each day?
  • What were you eating in a day before your weight loss?
  • Do you count calories?
  • How much did you lose eating this way over how long?
  • Anything else you want to add

I really enjoy hearing people's stories and experiences, please feel free to share as much or as little as you want 🙂

Myself: 32F, 5'2 and about 100 pounds overweight. I gained mostly from a rough cycle of alcoholism & binge eating and am sober now but the weight doesn't seem to be coming off.

Inflammation cause of extreme weight loss

Hello all! I’m a 42/m I started my weight loss journey August 17 at 6”3 291lbs. As of today I am 264lbs. I prioritized protein and cutting most carbs. I exercise 3-4x a week. I noticed I am losing weight really quickly which is awesome. A lot of my weight was in my midsection. Anytime I would eat I would just swell up. Since cutting sugars out almost completely that bloat is gone, could this just have been a lot of water retention because of inflammation? I’m searching for answers because the weight is just falling off so fast.

Advice!

Hi! I have recently been struggling with eating after drinking. Not only do I eat once I come home from a night out but the whole day afterwards, which I think is arguably worse. It ruins my weekends and makes me feel horrible for days. I am in pain with my stomach, but also uncomfortable and don’t feel good in my body. I’ve been on a weight-loss journey for some time now and things are finally moving in a positive direction in terms of the other pieces of the weight loss but my drinking is one thing I’m very much struggling with. I’m open to any advice you guys have for context I’m 23 and single so I’d like to enjoy my nights out and socialize and not stop living my life. Also, I typically drink 1 night a week. It feels like I’ve built this habit / routine and I need to change it.

Weight loss and Breast size

I’ve (31F) gained approximately 45 lbs due to poor lifestyle choices, and also depression and a change in work leading to a more sedentary life. I am currently trying to move more to lose the weight.

I know it’s vain, but I’m worried about the weight loss leading to saggy breasts. Currently, the girls are still perky, and haven’t changed much with the weight gain. They are larger, but not sagging.

Will losing 45 lbs make a huge difference in my chest?

EDIT: I’m 6’1, and a lot of the weight has been relatively evenly distributed, maybe more centered in thighs and midsection if that matters at all. Currently at 186lbs looking to hit 140lbs

More Clothing Options and Idk What To Do

Back in March I wanted to lose weight and decided it had to be done. I began and calorie deficit and going to the gym. Since then I’ve lost 60lbs and I want to keep going to get down since I’m still huge. I didn’t notice the weight loss at first until shirts on my body began feeling huge. I was suddenly able to fit into older shirts I never could before. Now I tried on some shirts that I had but never could wear and i can fit them all with room. The issue is it’s almost 40 extra shirts and 15 pairs of pants. I have no sense of style so I don’t know what to do truly. I’m super excited to lose the weight and fit the clothes but also now stuck on how to actually dress. My goal is is lose 100 more pounds so that means more clothes as well. For those who lost the weight and had to do the wardrobe change or whatever how did you get accustomed to finding a new style or buying new clothes over and over.
