help a busy and broke college student! starting weight loss again after 2 years.

I (19F) am in my second year of college and have gained 20 pounds in the last year, majority of that in the last 6 months. I’m 5’7, around 170 lbs. I went through a breakup this summer, which turned into a general depression that I ate my way through. I have ED adjacent issues (accidental under eating turned obsessive cal tracking turned binge eating). I’ve never been diagnosed, but I was in therapy / nutrition support for it from dec 2024 to july 2025. My diet as of this semester has mostly consisted of fast food and many binges. Last year my dorm had a kitchenette with a large fridge as well as a large community kitchen, so I would eat breakfast in the dorm (oats) and meal prep. but this year my dorm has no counter space, only have a mini fridge and a tiny shared kitchen. i barley have any space for meal prep containers and I’ve been so depressed that I just order something on GrubHub. How do I lose weight? I used to be overweight but I lost it all during HS and now my BMI is back to overweight. How do I lose weight without repeating the same mistakes I did last time and giving myself ED issues? How do I get back into the gym (too scared to go) without only looking at the cals I’ve burned? The only way ik how to lose weight is tracking my food, but tracking my food turned into BED that still hasn’t gone away. Help!

Meds for maintaining a healthy weight? (105-108 lbs)

I currently weigh around 105-108 lbs. I lost 80 lbs manually and have been maintaining for 2 years. But not gonna lie, I don’t know how much longer I can last fighting my hunger cues. It doesn’f matter what macro/micronutrients I prioritize with my meals, how I change up macronutrient ratios, how nutrient dense the food I eat is (I don’t eat processed foods anymore) my hunger cues are always screaming at me to eat. Every day is a constant battle. And I feel like I’m going to lose & crash HARD one day.

I have PCOS despite losing so much weight and cleaning up my diet (surprise surprise, weight loss doesn’t cure PCOS), so food noise & raging hunger cues are pretty much gonna be with me for life. I’ve read such amazing things about certain meds like ridding people of their food noise and allowing people to finally eat & function like a normal human being rather than a ravenous monster constantly looking for their next hit.

What are the odds someone who is within healthy weight range for their height can get prescribed these meds despite all their “numbers” (weight, blood sugar, blood pressure etc) being ideal and not actually needing to lose weight?

New Cloths

Any advice on when to buy new clothing? I've lost 20 pounds while putting on muscle, so my waistline has shrunk more than a normal 20 weight loss for me. I have this crazy idea that I can do another 20. If I can do that, I'll be high-school thin. My jeans are getting a little loose, but not too bad yet, but my body is shifting pretty quickly.

I've lost plenty of weight plenty of times, but I've always had smaller pants in the back of my closet and it looks like that won't be the case this time.

I don't want to buy too early and have to go buy some more.

Edit, I'm sure we all know i am speaking of clothing, not cloths.

Been doing carnivore and keto thinking of switching to a normal diet.

Been doing keto and some days carnivore I've dropped 100+ pounds still have 60-80 to go. Thing is recently I've been feeling like a zombie. I wake up drained like I haven't slept and the brain fog is crazy because of this. I'm trying to study and I can't retain any information.

This started happening 4-5 months ago I'm tired of it thought it would get better. Just wondering for only the people that have done long term keto or carnivore and switched back how long did it take for your body to adjust if it did take any time at all? Also any side effects when switching high glucose blood pressure etc?

Since starting keto carnivore my blood pressure and blood sugar have dropped dramatically which is pretty much the only plus besides the weight loss.

How to lose 200+lbs for real, without weight loss surgery. Need advice from people who've personally done it.

I'm F/32/450lbs. A lot of factors play the part of my weight. I'm a pc gamer, and I work from home, and I like to eat crappy food that I can get instantly. I know the umbrella idea for weight loss is "eat less, eat in a deficient" which I get.

But I want to hear from people who have been my weight or more, who were able to make lifestyle changes, and lose the weight. I want to hear realistic stories, realistic tips, realistic workout routines for beginning the journey. I'm sure not every story starts with "One day, I just stopped eating junk and never slipped up again".

Everyday, I tell myself that today's the day, then hours later I'm doing the same crap that got me here. I'm so set in my ways, that I literally forget the things I wanted to do until it's time for bed. I lay in bed and thing "dang, I wanted to work out today. Dang I didn't want to order food today. etc".

I just need a little inspiration, or resources, or tips that have worked for others.

I need advice to lose weight

I just turned 30 and I’m getting really frustrated with my weight loss journey. Losing weight will help control medical conditions I’ve been diagnosed with but I can’t seem to find help on how to get there.

For clarification I have POTS and Insulin resistant PCOS. I’ve heard GLP-1s can be helpful with PCOS weight loss but it has a dangerous effect on POTS symptoms. I have tried diet and exercise for years and I lose 10-15 lbs before it stops completely, and not like a plateau stops, but stuck at that weight for months on end as I’m furiously tracking my calories and making sure I’m getting in exercise and that number refuses to go down.

Can anyone else relate to this? What advice can you offer? I just want to be healthy again.
