I currently weigh around 105-108 lbs. I lost 80 lbs manually and have been maintaining for 2 years. But not gonna lie, I don’t know how much longer I can last fighting my hunger cues. It doesn’f matter what macro/micronutrients I prioritize with my meals, how I change up macronutrient ratios, how nutrient dense the food I eat is (I don’t eat processed foods anymore) my hunger cues are always screaming at me to eat. Every day is a constant battle. And I feel like I’m going to lose & crash HARD one day.
I have PCOS despite losing so much weight and cleaning up my diet (surprise surprise, weight loss doesn’t cure PCOS), so food noise & raging hunger cues are pretty much gonna be with me for life. I’ve read such amazing things about certain meds like ridding people of their food noise and allowing people to finally eat & function like a normal human being rather than a ravenous monster constantly looking for their next hit.
What are the odds someone who is within healthy weight range for their height can get prescribed these meds despite all their “numbers” (weight, blood sugar, blood pressure etc) being ideal and not actually needing to lose weight?
