Fatty lump on neck?

Does anybody have a fatty lump on their neck? Or had one and it went away with weight loss? I’ve lost 8 lbs also been doing postural exercises for back issues and I have seen no change… I’ve had back issues for years but never a fat lump on the back of my neck, I really hate it, I’m super insecure about it, I just want to see an inkling of improvement. I feel like I’ve been working so hard, I’ve seen progress with my back pain, I’ve seen progress with my weight loss, but that lump just won’t go.. it makes me feel ugly. I’m going for a cushings test because my doctor sends everyone with weight issues, I don’t think I have it, so assuming I don’t have cushings, does anybody have advice?

Anyone else eat dramatically less on workdays, but struggle on days off?

For months now I’ve pretty much eaten no more than 1,000 calories 5 days a week (workdays), but on my two days off every week I’ll eat like 2,000 to 3,000.

This has made my weight loss incredibly slow. I lost 70lbs in 3 months and then lost 10lbs in almost 2 months after that.

Male, 26, 6ft 1in, 468 to 385lbs, goal weight of 225lbs, ever since I hit 399 it has been super slow, and it’s all my fault.

What are some things you do to not eat like a madman on your days off? Dieting is SO easy on my workdays, but on my days off I can’t help myself.

ADHD and weight loss

Hey,

I have ADHD, but I’m trying to avoid medication where I can. I’m wondering if any others with ADHD have successfully lost weight and if there are any adhd specific tips. I always feel like I need something to eat, I almost use it to procrastinate.

Many ADHD medications suppress appetite but im really wanting to try stay off of them and lose weight as I don’t want to rely on them to help me to lose weight.

Yes, I buy in to the idea of making sustainable lifestyle changes, and follow volume eating low calories, high protein lots of fiber, drinking water, and not having unrealistic goals. I guess I’m wondering just specifically if there are tips from Those with ADHD on how you managed to make sustainable lifestyle changes and didn’t rely on medication to suppress your appetite to lose weight. I also track everything but am constantly eating at or over maintenance lately and it’s so discouraging 😟

Thank you!!

Has anybody had loose skin tighten up after you got it?

I'm genuinely curious. I have people all the time telling me that I just need to give my body time. I've seen that it can take up to 2-3 years for the skin to tighten as much as it's going to tighten.

I'm also in the awkward middle stage of my weight loss, so I may just need to allow myself to get to my GW and maintain before I see what is permenant and what isn't. I definitely have loose skin, but the only place I can pinch it is a very specific spot in my upper thighs. I've gone down 55 pounds and I'm going another 20-30 to my goal. I'm also 18, so I have youth on my side.

Weight loss changes

Hey everyone, I'm a 6'2, 19 year old male. I started at nearly 300lbs about 6 months ago. I started working out frequently and watching what I eat, I got down to about 280lbs with a few setbacks, broken ankle, and a cruise ship vacation. I leveled off around 281-285lbs for 2ish months. 1 month ago I started taking phentermime. I've lost 20lbs in the last month. I'm staying hydrated almost always clear to slight yellow pee, and am eating almost all protein and weight lifting 4-6 days a week, lifts have gone up so I'm sure I haven't been losing muscle. That aside, I've noticed my face has definitely thinned out a bit and surprisingly my shoes are fitting looser as if I've lost weight on my feet or maybe swelling has gone down in my feet from the reduction in weight. But one thing hasn't changed much and thats my stomach, I can't seem to notice almost any changes in my stomach aside from it seeming slightly flatter, I was wondering how much weight or a ballpark of how much weight I need to lose to see a noticeable reduction in my midsection, and the same go for my Thighs which seem to haven't had changed at all. Thanks

As You Lose Weight, How Do You Get Over the Low Confidence From Being Obese?

This is something I've still been struggling with. I was as high as 340 pounds, and now I am down to 265, and while I feel a lot better about myself, I still have those feelings of self doubt and worthlessness.

It can be even small things like human interaction with other people, I question why they are being nice to a slob like me(I had other issues outside of my weight I am still trying to overcome, it's a work in progress).

I had a very nice woman come up to me recently and compliment me at the gym about my weight loss, and I was just thinking "there must be some sort of ulterior motive here", when I could've just been a normal person and possibly made a friend. This type of situation has happened several times, and it's my own low confidence self-sabatoging me.

Anyone have input?

Weight loss plateau

Hello guys,

I’m 360 day off the weight loss, and I’m down around 30 kgs. I look amazing! I’m currently at 85, and I just need to take off those last 10kgs. But for the last 3 months I’m completely stuck.

I train MMA 2x and Judo 1x (I coach it) a week, and I eat this:

2xScoops of Whey Isolate + Oat meal packet I would say around 250-300kcal.

1xPasta dish. Something like Cacio E Pepe, Pasta a la Assassina, maybe Carbonara. I don’t have much time to cook as I work a lot. 75 grams of pasta + sauces depending on which I’m eating, I would say tops 500 calories.

2xFlat Whites a day which is 150kcal.

Sometimes I will skip dinner and just get 2xWhey Isolate scoops.

I’m just staying constantly at that weight, that’s barely hitting 1000kcals a day (1000kcal last month, before that I was eating regular 1500-1800 weekends). I’m not working out for the purposes of muscles l train just because I like the sport, but these last 10kgs are killing me.

I had a week where I ate junk food during holidays, basically cheat week, but even then I didn’t go above 1500-1800kcal.

My BMR is 2200kcal.

My coach recons I’m eating too little and my body is struggling to lose weight and it’s trying to combat it a lot. I drink 2L of water a day.

2 months ago I was on Protein Intake, so I ate around 1800kcals a day, and now I dropped calories a lot.

It’s just 10kgs man, please help me.

Thanks in advance.
