My first plateau

I’ve been losing since this February. I have lost about 35 lbs so far, starting at 239 and now at 204. I live in a group home so I have very little control over my meals (lunch and dinner are cooked by staff) but somehow I succeeded by having the goal of eating 1200 a day. At first my weight loss was around 7 lbs per month then it slowed down to 5 lbs, then 3 lbs. this month it’s been two weeks and I’m still at 204.8, exactly what it was at the start of the month. So I felt discouraged and said to myself, ‘screw it, I’m not losing any weight this month anyway’ and started snacking heavily on yogurt cups and spoonfuls of peanut butter straight out of the jar, and this morning I ate a big bowl of cereal. I just feel really discouraged like I’m not getting anywhere.

Another thing- my nemesis is nighttime eating. I feel like a different person when I get hungry at night and it’s easy to throw al my hard work/mindset to the wind.

Gym-I walk around 10,000 steps and do some strength training 5 days a week.
