Eating less than TDEE (tracked) but no weight loss

I basically eat this:

Apple for breakfast

2 boiled eggs for lunch/dinner

An iced coffee with milk and sugar sometime during the day (small size, most of its coffee and water)

A piece of toast at some point (plain)

I have been eating this for 2 weeks but my weight has barely budged. I'm at a 28 BMI so I know for a fact that the food above is lower than my TDEE. Why is this happening? I feel the need to cut the coffee and toast down but everyone around me is worried for my health and I think they'll take action if I cut down my food any more which is annoying because I'm an adult and I make my own choices and if I choose to eat this way no one can tell me otherwise. Rant over. I'd appreciate any help.

routine advice

hi all!

i am new to fitness and health in general. i started eating better and exercising about a month ago, i’ve gotten a feel of the gym and different exercises/lifts. i also play a casual game of pick up soccer at the park once a week. having said all that — i’ve created a potential plan for myself.

my goal is mostly weight loss and general fitness, but putting on some muscle is also nice. what do y’all think of this? does it seem reasonable?

S - 30 minute walk

M - legs & abs

T - upper body combos

W - soccer & abs

Th - push

F - pull

S - 30 minute walk

thanks!!

Walked 15k steps today!

Hi everyone. I’m on a weight loss journey but haven’t been doing walks except since the start of these warmer spring/summer months. As such, I’ve really only lost 20 pounds in the whole year, since I wasn’t working out in the winter but just counting calories. I’ve lost 12 pounds since March, i wanted to push myself and actually lose weight now.

So today, I did 3 miles before work today and was on self checkout so I was just walking around for 4 hours basically also getting steps in lol. I’m really proud of myself!

I’m just really happy, 10k steps is a lot already. Was so surprised when Fitbit gave me the notification! Now at the end of the day, im at 15k steps. Would appreciate other people’s share in my joy. :)

Thoughts on weight loss and gaining some weight back

Last September, I decided to do something about my weight (high of 245) and started CICO. I was very successful to the point that I was losing an average of 3 pounds a week, which led me to getting breath testing and a DEXA to determine my RMR. I need a lot more calories than average women my size due to my heavy muscle and bone mass, apparently.

Anyway, I lost about 30 pounds and was around 215 by end of December and felt great. I was sleeping better, clothes were fitting better, my resting heart rate dropped. Then a bunch of stressors hit and I started drinking wine every night and stopped with the CICO. My Dad died a couple of months back which just snowballed all of my bad habits. In all, I gained about 20 pounds back but my body seems to have a new set point because with all of the stress and drinking in August from grief, I didn't get over 235, which is ten pounds below my previous set point. I've held pretty steady at 235 for the last few months.

Now I'm back to not drinking regularly and I feel like I'm starting to peel some of that weight back off. But I'm reluctant to do CICO because it's addictive but when I stop I seem to just fall off the wagon. It's almost an orthorexia thing and not doing CICO just feels so much better, from a mental health standpoint. How the hell do you maintain that mental space in a healthy way and not go crazy? I've heard so many people talk about it's not weight loss that is hard, it's maintaining. How do you long term maintenance folks stay on track without developing an eating disorder? I guess that's my big question lately. Because I thought weight loss was honestly easy. And I say that as a 46 year old female approaching menopause. LOL

Lost a ton of weight and now my bit feels weird

I was about 125-127 lbs to start before I had a medical crisis and lost more than 20 pounds. I just got over covid and dropped to 99. I’m 5’ 6”. I’ve noticed I have absolutely no butt anymore, but it also feels weird. This may be a lame question, but is it normal to feel your tailbone so prominently? It sometimes feels irritating, like when I first stand up or put my pants on, as if fabric irritates my back carriage. Is it possible that I’ve lost so much weight, things just feel different? I do get uncomfortable sitting for a long time but it’s not painful. Just feels strange at times. Anyone else feel this after a huge weight loss?

Very disappointing week, needing some advice and WOE

So I’m 25f, 5’5 , 406lb. Mid June I weighed 456lb.

Im on phentermine and the cravings at first were gone and it was great and I see a dr every two weeks to weigh in for my weight loss. A couple months ago my foot pain got severe, found out I have a heel spur. Got a shot and I had to rest this week.phentermine no longer kicks those cravings. I couldn’t walk as much and all I’ve wanted to do is eat eat eat. I’ve eat like shit for days. I’m very depressed, also just got my period. I’m going on a 10 day camping trip in a few weeks and I’m wanting to build my stamina up and feel good about myself. I’m very upset and disappointed in myself. What have you done to pick yourself back up? TIA

Gaining and loosing...

I'm back. Anyone miss me? I missed me.

I lost a bunch of weight in the years before 2020. I also found myself in a bad work situation that I needed to get out of. By the start of 2020 I was set - I was at an amazing 150 lbs, regularly running 10 miles on weekends, I had finally landed my dream job - Life was great.

We all know what happened then....in Jan/Feb/ Mar of 2020

The dream job became its own adventure when it evaporated, recombobulated itself and morphed into something completely different by September of 2020. Still fun and lots to do, but completely different.

I maintained the weight loss for as long as I didn't drink during the regular COVID Happy hour with friends. By the time the Happy hour lost its popularity, I had started having a couple of glasses of wine with Happy hour - and I had gained 30 lb. back.

At the time, I looked at it as an adjustment: I figured that my body was going to just find that new happy spot - you know, that spot where your body is neither gaining nor losing weight because your input matches your output. Prior to COVID, that balance had settled at around 150 lb. Where would my new habits of working from home all the time, snacking all day and not exercising balance out? I guessed about 180lb, but I was wrong. I finally settled at 210lb. Oops...

It's been 1 year since then. I'm still not regularly leaving the house, but I am off alcohol (no good things come from alcohol) and I m not constantly snacking any more. I have not started working out again, but I'm a happy 175 lbs. That was about the time I started running in earnest last time.

I just got to do it again - and this time, maybe it will stick. 150 lbs. is a little low for me, though - not on paper, just in reality.
