My biggest problem is diet. I walk between 15k-20k steps most work days, and at least 8k on non-work days. I burn tons of calories doing that, no problem. Then I overeat.
I'm making healthier food decisions, getting a fair bit of protein and 'good stuff' in my diet, and still not losing as fast as I want to. Maybe 0.5kg a week? Considering I'm meeting a calories deficit of at least 1500cal (daily 4000cal burned, 2500cal intake, approximately), I would have expected faster, closer to 1kg, even 1.5kg. Especially considering I am at the start of this. Doesnt it go faster at the start? It's really strange and demotivating to me.
Do I need to increase my calorie deficit even more? Is it perhaps because I've taken to actually drinking water now (2L a day minimum)? Do I need to do exercise alongside this?
I'm desperate, my body is my biggest insecurity and my biggest obstacle with having a better life. Can anybody suggest me anything that could help or be causing slow weight loss?
