Weight loss journey ( 2 months in )

Hi everyone !

First time user of the app , found it very user friendly compared to some other ones .

Long short story I’ve gained an unhealthy amount of weight over the past couple of years ( 111 kg ) and always struggled to have a balanced diet due to bad eating habits despite being quite an active person in the gym for the last 2 years .

It eventually reached a breaking point where I couldn’t stand looking at myself in the mirror anymore and decided to do something about it .

I’ve never kept track of calories or read nutrition labels before in my life so it took a bit of practice to get used to it at first but the end result has been quite rewarding so far .

My initial goal was to reach 95 kg by the end of the year and move into phase 2 afterwards where I’m gonna try to slim down to 87-90 ish kg until the next Summer .

I’m currently on 99.2kg , 2 months into it and I’m probably running ahead of schedule a little .

29 y.o , 1.85 cm height ( 111 kg at the beginning of September ) , fairly active at the gym , 5 days a week , 2 days of rest or just some regular walking in the park ) .

My weekly calorie intake from foods is somewhere around 1750-1800 ish ignoring whatever bonus calories the app adds from the readings it gets from the apple watch .

Macros split is currently something around :

16% fat - 37% carbs - 47% protein

3 meals a day , snacks mainly fruits and some low fat protein puddings or yogurts .

Breakfast usually consists of : egg whites , low fat cottage cheese , 3-4 slices of wholewheat bread , bacon rashers

Lunch :

Chicken breast or thighs , lean turkey or beef burger , white rice /w mushrooms , cooked green peas , boiled cauliflowers / spinach , sweet potatoes

Dinner :

Protein shake ( 35 g protein powder , 300g low fat yogurt, 70ml skimmed milk , 50-100g of quaker oats , 1 banana )

Any recommendations for meal ideas or things I should consume in moderation or add to my diet will be greatly appreciated .

P. s : I live in Europe so I do apologies for the different units of measurements .
