I did HCG over 5 years ago, lost 40lbs in 40 days and have kept it off - completely changed my life. AMA

I see a lot of comments in older threads about HCG where it's pretty clear that most of them haven't even put in 5 minutes of research.

When you first read about it, I admit, it's sounds ridiculous.. which is why I dismissed it the first 3-4 times I saw it mentioned on my "weight loss" research journey.

Since I kept seeing it mentioned I decided to do a deep dive.. the more I read, the more it made sense.. I read about 40+ hours before placing my order.. (Yes I'm a research fanatic)

I lost EXACTLY 40 pounds in EXACTLY 40 days and haven't looked back since.

This was over 5 years ago. In face I've lost a few more pounds since then just by being mindful of what I eat.

HCG effectively reset my weight.. gave me unbelievable confidence and I've sustained that ever since.

I've since referred friends and also met others while casually talking about my success - everyone I've ever met has had success.

I did this with absolutely zero working out, didn't even walk around the block once.

Don't listen to one random persons comment that more than likely has zero first hand research or experience.

Do your OWN research.

DO NOT buy HHCG - No drops, no patches.. no BS.

Buy REAL HCG in powder form and do injections.

Check out the HCG forums.. there are THOUSANDS of real people that have actually done the protocol where you can get all your questions answered and make an educated decision for yourself.

This completely changed my life and want to help those who want the same success.

Ask me anything..

Quite a few questions on weight loss, can you help?

Hey

I started my journey only 5 days ago but it is the first time I feel in my heart I can stick to losing weight. I am at my heaviest and after going to a recent Christmas party and seeing the photos I made a promise to myself the very next day I would start being healthy and kind to myself.

I have some questions for you since this sub is so incredibly motivating and helpful.

  1. I'm 5ft8 tall sometimes a bit less depending on the time of day. I'm taller than average so just wondering how many cals you ladies are eating per day around this height? I am 184 lbs currently. I wear a size 14 or 16 (UK size, not sure what that is in EU or US).

  2. Should I only eat within a certain window or time or can I snack when I want as long as it is healthy and I dont exceed my cals?

  3. Is there anywhere I can post a starting photo of myself at my current weight? (Even though I am just starting out).

  4. Am I likely to get loose skin if the most I want to lose is 50 lbs?

  5. How many cheat days is it ok to have per month and how many calories over can this be?

  6. As my weight lowers how will I know to lower my daily calorie intake?

  7. Should I measure my body and make a note of this along with my weight?

  8. Do I need to pay attention to macros etc at this stage? I currently don't understand about the breakdown in calories.

  9. What are some foods you always try to have in your kitchen and can't imagine being without?

Thanks for reading and the help in advance.

X

I feel stuck

Hey guys. With the new year around the corner, I just want some insight. What all have you guys tried and had success with this year? And what was the most challenging thing about your weight loss journey this year?

I did keto earlier this year and I lost 40lbs, but it caused my thyroid to act up which then caused a whirlwind of problems. I’ve decided that lower carbs may be the answer, but keto probably isn’t really fit for me. But of course, I was dumb these last two months post-keto and felt down about everything so I overate and gained 10 lbs back. So if anyone has any tips/stories, I’d love to hear, er uh, read them.

How can I feel so skinny one day and so fat the next?!

So I’ve been actively trying to lose weight for over 8 months now and so far I’ve 17lbs. My highest weight was 153lbs and now I’m 136lbs. There are some days when I look at myself and I see a tiny waist, smaller legs, flatter stomach etc and I feel good about myself. But other days I literally feel like a blob, like I look down and I can’t see a single bit of difference from now and my starting weight. I realise that I actually don’t look different and as skinny as I thought I was. Is this normal with weight loss? For the perception to change so drastically? It’s like I see two different images in the mirror!!

SV - I've reached my 100kg Goal [21M and 6ft]

I've been overweight pretty much my entire life. In the past I used to play a lot of sports for fun so when I decided to lose weight, I just cut out a shit ton of carbs and replaced it with veg and protein. I unhealthily lost a lot of weight as a result, and at the time I still wasn't happy. I ended up putting that weight back on almost as easily as I lost it. I dropped from 15st to 12st in the space of a few months and my family kept on telling me I looked anorexic, but I still felt overweight (looking back at pictures and videos I reckon they were right, and that was part of the problem). From there I continued to gain weight over the years and ended up at 19st and 1lbs.

In July I started a proper weight loss effort, focusing on my calorie intake (IIFYM) and exercise. I did a lot of research on what the best caloric deficit would be for someone of my age, height, weight and activity level. I used this to determine what I need to eat and began meal prepping. I didn’t (and still don’t) want to rush losing weight so I’ve been focusing on losing 1kg per week (~2lbs) as recommended.

I started going to the gym 4 times a week to lift weights, supplementing this with daily cardio ~30 mins a day. I've been recording everything I eat, all the gym exercises I've done (and at what weights), and my weight loss each week.

5 Months later (today) I finished of my workout at the gym and weighed myself. I've lost 21.2kg (3st 5lbs) so far. It hasn't been easy with cravings, which I still get today, but it only works for me if I am very strict on what I eat. I do allow myself treats, but not too often and only if they can fit in with my macros.

In terms of my body, I am a lot stronger and have much greater stamina than I did before, and I think it shows a bit. I still have a long way to go, but I feel a lot more comfortable in my body than I ever have. At first, I felt as though there wasn't much change. I was dropping in clothing sizes, but I couldn't see much difference in pictures that were months apart. I took some photos last month and compared them to the photos I took at the start and I'm starting to see the visual changes. I'm going away on holiday for Christmas, so it'll be tough, but I plan to try and exercise as often as I can and still watch what I eat, but not as strictly.

Sorry for the long post. I'm not one to share, but I want to be able to, so I thought I would start somewhere.

Need to make a change

I’m 44m 5’11” 236 lbs. To make a long story short, I’ve gained 30 lbs in the past two years, and I wasn’t exactly slim then. But I remember the moment I decided to put my weight and fitness in hold.

Well time is up. Last month I decided to start by quitting alcohol. I figured I could never lose weight if I was drinking 5 beers a day.

That had been going pretty well and I feel confident about my sobriety, but I had a health scare. I wasn’t feeling great and my blood pressure had reached insane levels, which is forcing me to advance my weight loss plan.

So here I am day one. In some ways this might be more difficult than quitting drinking, because you can just quit alcohol and get immediate benefits. It isn’t possible to quit food. Plus it takes much longer to see results.

But I’m in. Installed a calorie counting app. I have no other choice. I’m hoping to get to 206 by birthday on March 20
