So I’ve been actively trying to lose weight for over 8 months now and so far I’ve 17lbs. My highest weight was 153lbs and now I’m 136lbs. There are some days when I look at myself and I see a tiny waist, smaller legs, flatter stomach etc and I feel good about myself. But other days I literally feel like a blob, like I look down and I can’t see a single bit of difference from now and my starting weight. I realise that I actually don’t look different and as skinny as I thought I was. Is this normal with weight loss? For the perception to change so drastically? It’s like I see two different images in the mirror!!
