Quite a few questions on weight loss, can you help?

Hey

I started my journey only 5 days ago but it is the first time I feel in my heart I can stick to losing weight. I am at my heaviest and after going to a recent Christmas party and seeing the photos I made a promise to myself the very next day I would start being healthy and kind to myself.

I have some questions for you since this sub is so incredibly motivating and helpful.

  1. I'm 5ft8 tall sometimes a bit less depending on the time of day. I'm taller than average so just wondering how many cals you ladies are eating per day around this height? I am 184 lbs currently. I wear a size 14 or 16 (UK size, not sure what that is in EU or US).

  2. Should I only eat within a certain window or time or can I snack when I want as long as it is healthy and I dont exceed my cals?

  3. Is there anywhere I can post a starting photo of myself at my current weight? (Even though I am just starting out).

  4. Am I likely to get loose skin if the most I want to lose is 50 lbs?

  5. How many cheat days is it ok to have per month and how many calories over can this be?

  6. As my weight lowers how will I know to lower my daily calorie intake?

  7. Should I measure my body and make a note of this along with my weight?

  8. Do I need to pay attention to macros etc at this stage? I currently don't understand about the breakdown in calories.

  9. What are some foods you always try to have in your kitchen and can't imagine being without?
