Like many people I (26F) want to lose some weight this year! I’m 5’6 and want to go slowly to keep things sustainable, so I’m aiming for about .5 pounds per week. I can handle some hunger but don’t want to be starving all the time with a ton of food noise lol.
I weighed 171.8 on 12/29 and I weighed in today (1/3) at 166.8. That’s a 5 pound weight loss that I’m sure is a combo of water, less food in my stomach, and a bit of fat loss too. I REALLY don’t want this to be a pattern and want the weight loss to be slower. Should I try eating a bit more this week? Or should I just keep doing what I’m doing and see if the scale keeps going down too quickly? I think I need more data over the next few weeks but need some advice
