Stall in weight loss?

So I've been consistently losing weight since September of 2019. I went from 134 kg to my weight and current problem of 94-95 kg.
My problem is, I've been doing different diets to get to this point of my weight loss journey. I started out with CICO until i was around 115~ kg and switched over to keto until around i was 96~ kg.
Then I wanted to introduce carbs into my diet again because I don't want to be on keto forever and ever since then, i've been around the same weight (it's been around 8 weeks), i've been eating the same meals consistently and my average daily macro intake was the following according to MFP:
Carbs (91 G), Fats (27 G), Protein (106 G)
So what I think the problem is either of the following:
Lack of exercise or hopping off keto, let me explain the two a little bit.
So with the lack of exercise, I used to always train atleast 4-5x times a week consistently and these past three weeks I haven't trained alot due to school and finals and shit so I couldn't fit training into my schedule. If this is the problem, will getting back to my usual schedule work?
With the hopping off keto thing, I just explained it first in my paragraph briefly so I hope you understand.
My body stats are the following:
Age (16-17), Weight (SW=136kg) (CW=94-95kg), Height (6'0)

Hope you guys can help me! Ask me any questions if you are confused and I will happily answer them!

Erratic Weight Loss

Hello all.

So recently, about 2 weeks ago, I decided to lose weight at 403 pounds. I calculated my TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and established a 1000 calorie deficit at around 2560. I have never gone over, typically consuming 1500-2000 calories per day. I also started doing cardio for 30-45 minutes at a pattern of 3 days, rest, 3 days, rest. The cardio burned about 300 each session on average. Overall my net calorie count was about 1200-1700. My first week was great and I lost 6.6 pounds, down to 396.4. But this morning I weighed again at the end of week 2 and it was only 396.0. Mathematically, neither really makes sense, so can anybody explain this weird flux in weight loss amounts? Are these common? Should I just keep doing this same thing or change it up somehow? I could really use some great advice. Thanks!

I am done

Hi, i don't know how conventional this post is, but at this moment i really don't care.

I am 19 years old, german, 1,82m (6ft) and i don't know how much i weigh. could be anything from 140kg to 200 kg really. I wear, depending on the brand, EU size xxl to xxxl and sometimes even 4xl.

I decided to lose weight after a trip to a theme park where the seats were unbearably small or i couldn't even fit in them.

I calculated my daily need of calories to be at around 2500kcal. so i decided to limit myself to 1500kcals per day. If only it were that easy... I mean, i know that i am not the only person on this planet who struggles with limiting their intake, but it has come to a point where it isn't even funny anymore.

I regularly (3 or 4 times a day) have such severe cravings that i would go as far as saying that my food addiction is more crippling than my nicotine addiction. If i have one of these cravings, my body tells me " eat a lot of food now or you will die!" It is such a strong feeling that feels so bad. I already tried the usual tricks like drinking a glass of water, or eating an apple, none of wich are remotely helping.

I tried to lose weight for about three months now without any signs of weight loss at all. infact, it is getting worse. I am spiraling into deep depression which again fuels my hunger and the need to not leave my room. I often conteplate killing myself.

I also for a long time thought to myself "i am just gonna grab a knife and cut all of my fat off" this has even gone to a point where i researched how to sterilize knives at home and DRAWING on my body, where the important veins and arteries are so i wouldn't cut them.

Everytime i look in the mirror i unironically cringe and gag at how absolutely disgusting i look.

Talking to my doctor did not help either.

I just needed to tell this to someone.

Day 1? Starting your weight loss journey on Monday, 15 June 2020? Start here!

Today is your Day 1?

Welcome to r/Loseit!

So you aren’t sure of how to start? Don’t worry! “How do I get started?” is our most asked question. r/Loseit has helped our users lose over 1,000,000 recorded pounds and these are the steps that we’ve found most useful for getting started.

Why you’re overweight

Our bodies are amazing (yes, yours too!). In order to survive before supermarkets, we had to be able to store energy to get us through lean times, we store this energy as adipose fat tissue. If you put more energy into your body than it needs, it stores it, for (potential) later use. When you put in less than it needs, it uses the stored energy. The more energy you have stored, the more overweight you are. The trick is to get your body to use the stored energy, which can only be done if you give it less energy than it needs, consistently.

Before You Start

The very first step is calculating your calorie needs. You can do that HERE. This will give you an approximation of your calorie needs for the day. The next step is to figure how quickly you want to lose the fat. One pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of fat per week you will need to consume 500 calories less than your TDEE (daily calorie needs from the link above). 750 calories less will result in 1.5 pounds and 1000 calories is an aggressive 2 pounds per week.

Tracking

Here is where it begins to resemble work. The most efficient way to lose the weight you desire is to track your calorie intake. This has gotten much simpler over the years and today it can be done right from your smartphone or computer. r/loseit recommends an app like MyFitnessPal, Loseit! (unaffiliated), or Cronometer. Create an account and be honest with it about your current stats, activities, and goals. This is your tracker and no one else needs to see it so don’t cheat the numbers. You’ll find large user created databases that make logging and tracking your food and drinks easy with just the tap of the screen or the push of a button. We also highly recommend the use of a digital kitchen scale for accuracy. Knowing how much of what you're eating is more important than what you're eating. Why? This may explain it.

Creating Your Deficit

How do you create a deficit? This is up to you. r/loseit has a few recommendations but ultimately that decision is yours. There is no perfect diet for everyone. There is a perfect diet for you and you can create it. You can eat less of exactly what you eat now. If you like pizza you can have pizza. Have 2 slices instead of 4. You can try lower calorie replacements for calorie dense foods. Some of the communities favorites are cauliflower rice, zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash in place of their more calorie rich cousins. If it appeals to you an entire dietary change like Keto, Paleo, Vegetarian.

The most important thing to remember is that this selection of foods works for you. Sustainability is the key to long term weight management success. If you hate what you’re eating you won’t stick to it.

Exercise

Is NOT mandatory. You can lose fat and create a deficit through diet alone. There is no requirement of exercise to lose weight.

It has it’s own benefits though. You will burn extra calories. Exercise is shown to be beneficial to mental health and creates an endorphin rush as well. It makes people feel awesome and has been linked to higher rates of long term success when physical activity is included in lifestyle changes.

Crawl, Walk, Run

It can seem like one needs to make a 180 degree course correction to find success. That isn’t necessarily true. Many of our users find that creating small initial changes that build a foundation allows them to progress forward in even, sustained, increments.

Acceptance

You will struggle. We have all struggled. This is natural. There is no tip or trick to get through this though. We encourage you to recognize why you are struggling and forgive yourself for whatever reason that may be. If you overindulged at your last meal that is ok. You can resolve to make the next meal better.

Do not let the pursuit of perfect get in the way of progress. We don’t need perfect. We just want better.

Additional resources

Now you’re ready to do this. Here are more details, that may help you refine your plan.

I gained 8 pounds over the past week and I feel like I’ve failed and I want to give up.

I was doing so well. I was eating great, lots of vegetables and not too much fatty stuff, I drank water like it was my job and I would exercise every single day. Then I f**ked up and ate too much bad stuff and not enough good stuff over the past week and some how managed to gain 8 pounds!

I started my weight loss journey at 17.5 stone and last Monday I was 16.7 stone. I was so proud of myself to see such a big change as that! Sure it took me well over a month to reach the point that I’d almost lost a stone but I still did it and damn I was proud of myself. Then, over the past week, I haven’t eaten as well as I have been, I didn’t exercise as much and I didn’t drink as much water as I usually do. I know it’s my fault and I really want to get back on track but I just feel like giving up now. What do I do at this point? HOW DID I GAIN 8 F**KING POUNDS IN A WEEK? I’m just so truly disappointed in myself.

Concerns about losing weight too fast

Hi I'm a 21[M] 5'8" and I just have a few concerns about my rapid weight loss. I'm currently doing Intermittent Fasting to aid and plan out my weight loss, which I started last month (May 17) and my starting weight was around 202lbs (92kg). Currently, I weigh at around 190lbs (86.7kg) and I'm extremely satisfied with the journey and the progress but I was just concerned about my rapid weight loss causing loose skin problems. I eat an average of 1600-1800 calories a day, workout 20 mins a day, and my work involves a decent amount of physical work. My goal weight as of the moment is at around 160lbs (73kg) and I was wondering if losing 10-12lbs in a month is normal in my current weight range?Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
