Back to my 190’s!

Continuing from this post, I’ve been on a weight loss journey since 2020, and I’ve seen valleys and peaks of all sorts. I recently inched back up to my starting weight (originally was 210lbs, went down to 171lbs, then went back up to 207lbs).

I’m happy to report that I’m now back in my 190’s (weighed in at 198.7lbs today), and I DO NOT plan on ever seeing a number that starts with 2 on my scale ever again! I know what I did wrong before, and I’m making a concerted effort to not yo-yo once more.

I’m so excited to keep it pushing, get back to where I was, and progress even further now. Second time’s the charm, Let’s go!

I gained back 40lbs. I’m feeling anxious and scared.

Hello everyone, my CW is 200 pounds. I started my weight loss journey at 220 pounds in the January of 2021. I was living abroad in a small European town where I had to walk a lot, eat healthy and staying fit wasn’t difficult.

Cut to summer of 2022, I came back to my country and slowly started gaining weight in the big city where I am working. I have tried everything in my power to work out and stay fit but with 9-5 job and constant craving of fast food isn’t helping me at all.

I recently got diagnosed with ED. I was starving myself to lose weight but I instead am low on vitamins and nutrients. My vitamin D was so low that they had to give me injections. And cherry on top is my new knee injury which I got while skating. I really don’t know what to do. I’m going to the doctor’s for my knee injury. He told me beforehand that I might need surgery for ACL injury. I am anxious and scared. I had done a lot in the past two years to lose weight and I am slowly gaining it all back.

I’m writing here with the hope of getting some motivation and silver lining. I really don’t want to be unhealthy again. I’m in dire need of some positive perspective.

THANKING THE SUB & Please suggest the pace at which i should plan to lose weight.

Guys,

I am 28F

Height 5 2'.. CW: 145 lbs.... 1st goal weight 128 lbs. final goal 123 lbs.

I went through a breakup and gained a lot of weight. I am been wanting to lose 22 lbs (10 kgs) for the past 2 years. I have not ever kept my promise to myself and been slacking off. I want to go back to my 121 lbs so that I can fit into my old clothes.

So, I decided to promise someone else this time and keep at at. I found this sub. I am extremely motivated by all your journeys and feel like I belong to some community. I will start my weight loss journey today. I will post my regimen and progress every single day here and probably can have a positive impact in someone else's health journey.

But I want to avoid loose skin. I was planning to target 4 kg (8.8 lbs ) per month. i.e 2.2 lbs per week. Is that safe.? Please advise
Any other precautions to take. I haven't started the journey yet.

P.S: I dont want any of u to waste your time on my break up. The guy came back and I politely refused to reconcile.

P.P.S: This is not about revenge bod or anything. I want to get healthier since I am getting older.

How to get back on track?

Hey I 18m started my weight loss journey last September and have been going to the gym consistently 6x a week and have been in a calorie deficit. I had lost 20kg during that time this is the first time I’ve taken the gym seriously and became so proud of myself.

However the start of February was different I’ve become so unmotivated and couldn’t even go outside and have fallen of track. I have been eating way over my daily limit. I just hoped on the scaled and I’m 5kg up from my lowest tbh I don’t know what to do. I probably need some encouragement as I don’t really have anyone to.

Has anyone been in this position or anything similar could you please share your experience and how you overcome this situation.

Recent adhd diagnosis and weight loss

F | 19 | 5’1 | 243lbs I was diagnosed with adhd literally yesterday and I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. I’ve spent the last couple of years trying to work on my health and lose weight. I’ve done a lot of research and I’ve tried so many ways to lose weight including very unhealthy ways (before I got educated). I could never stick with it. I got bored and went back to my old eating habits. I know weightloss is crazy hard but it’s literally been impossible for me to stick with. I really felt like I was just gross and lazy for not being able to lose weight and eat healthier. I feel like I’ve finally cracked the code and I’m really excited for the next couple of months. My doctors want me to try some adhd medication and I’m hoping it gives me what I need to really focus on weight loss and getting healthy. I’ve lost a couple pounds since I started metformin for my pcos so that also helps! If anyone else has adhd and is on a weight loss journey I’d love to hear your experiences! Very open to general advice as well!

Feeling light headed since starting new weight loss regimen

Hi everybody! This is my first time making a post here, although I lurk a lot and this sub has been very motivating. Thank you. I lost 22lbs (188-166) in 2022 by simply doing crossfit 3x a week and walking. I wasn't tracking calories, and eventually I hit a plateau with my weight loss and decided I would need to track. I've also started working out 5x a week. Ever since I've started purposefully trying to restrict my calories/exercising more, I've been feeling light headed from time to time...but the past two weeks have been worse, and I'm just not sure what's going on. I don't heavily restrict carbs. I eat fruit daily and indulge in sweets on occasion. I typically have red meat twice a week. If anybody thinks posting my food logs would help, I wouldn't mind sharing, I'm just not sure how to share images. Has anybody gone through something similar?

I'll post my average cals in/cals out in case that could be helpful. My goal is to be in a 750 calorie deficit a day, but some days I get more or less. Feb 19-25 1331 Cals in-2,157 cals out Feb 26-Mar 4 1514 Cals in-2544 Cals out (this week is on trend to match last week)

Thank you all so much...and on a positive note I lost 5 more lbs in February.

Women’s weight loss and clothes

Not the best community for the post but idk which one to go to; I’ve lost about 30 pounds and clothes fit way more awkwardly than before. Women’s clothing sizes were always inconsistent but going from an 18 and refusing to try a 20 (which I probably needed at one point) down to 14s being too big is so stressful. Jeans are awkwardly baggy in the waist and fit me in the thighs. Torrid clothes are ugly and too expensive. And sizing between stores is so inconsistent. I haven’t been down to a 14 (maybe even 12 bc the Forever 21 14s are too big) in a while so all this fluctuation is stressing me out. Any tips?
