Trying this again…

Hey there, I’ve been overweight since I was practically 8, and while I’ve been at weights in which I was happy with my body I am now way over what I want to be.

I’m 5’4 and hit 195 LB today, I’m also female. (I’m also 22)

I was happiest when I was 150 LB although, that’s when I started keto and other diets in a desperate attempt to lose weight.

I was 188 in April of this year, dropped to 170 by June, and have been steadily gaining since.

Along with this weight gain I’ve also experienced hair thickness (my hair was SO thin before) and more energy which leads me to believe my previous attempts at weight loss were unhealthy so I want to try again in the right way, I just need some suggestions.

To start off I’m intermittent fasting just to start getting some discipline into my food life again, lol. Next week I’m going to try a deficit + fasting, and I’ll slowly add cardio into that as well.

For reference, I WFH, I want a walking pad but I’m in the call centre world and unfortunately can’t use a walking pad during shifts… so I barely move.

My hobbies are also all very sedentary, I like drawing, reading, writing. This is why I’ve always struggled to have time for the gym. After my 9-5, cooking, and other house work I usually want to spend my remaining hour or hour and a half just drawing.

My relationship with food has not always been the best, any advice would be helpful.

My goal weight for now is 150 LB again.
