Lack of motivation? Not sure how to describe it

Logically I know I’m obese/fat. I enjoy working out but I eat far too much for the exercise to balance out anything. I physically feel gross, heavy, etc. and yet, when it comes to having the determination to do anything about it, I just don’t? It’s weird to describe. I love the idea of looking better and feeling happy with my appearance. I also want to live a long life. Yet the motivation to actually do anything about weight loss is not there on a day to day basis. Has anyone else felt this way? How did you deal with it and start losing weight despite the lack of strong motivation?

Healthy options while on the road

I travel for work year round and unfortunately don't currently have access to a kitchen and even a fridge right now. I started working out but am aware diet is a very important part of weight loss and getting healthier again. Does anyone have recommendations on eating out and trying to eat healthier at the same time? I have 2-3 more weeks at my current location and luckily I should have a kitchen to cook in again soon. When I head to my next location I plan on starting to meal prep So I stop eating at gas stations 5 to 6 days a week for lunch. I appreciate the advice.

Lost all Gains

So 3 years ago I went from about 500 down to 330 in about a year. Spent the last 2 years slowly gaining back. I did break my foot twice and i know a lot of it is just life getting just worse and worse in other areas, so i have gained most of it back. I am currently about 440lbs and just struggling with everything weight loss related. I am 46 so obviously this is a serious issue, but i just cant get any momentum going to get back into everything. I still log my food everyday, i need to workout more, but i am also working about 60 hours a week so its hard to get it. I dunno if this post should be here or if it should be it a depression one. Any tips for getting some sort of weightloss going again?

Concerns About Weight Loss

Hello all!! I’m currently freaking out a bit because my period is 5 days late (I’m a lesbian so ik I’m not pregnant) and I’m worried that I’m hurting myself with my current ongoing weight loss. I’ve lost a total of about 10 pounds since the end of August, which I thought meant I would be okay since that’s only losing about 5lbs per month. However, I will admit I’ve been largely forgetting to eat during the day and getting most of calories in at night. I thought that the time you ate didn’t matter bc your body can still use the calories to prevent malnourishment, but my period was early by a week and a half last month and now it’s nowhere to be found. I’m especially concerned bc I’m scared I might start losing hair, which ik can happen when you lose weight too rapidly. I’ve been taking a vitamin, doing my best to get a decent amount of all nutrients, and most of the time I at least have a protein shake or eggs in the morning (it’s jsut I normally don’t eat again till 3-6 depending on the day) Is it possible that my period is missing bc I’m malnourished? Idk what to do please help lol

Weight loss

I am a 18 m college student, I have been obese my entire life, however after I moved to college I for the most part stopped eating.

I usually only eat once a day, around 11 on weekdays and about 8 on weekends, I’ll sometimes need to remind myself to get dinner because I’m usually not hungry.

October 8th I was 219.6 pounds, and now I’m 211, I had decided to cut out all the snacking I used to due and switched from diet soda to water, I still drink soda but nowhere near as much as I used to.

I’m concerned because everywhere I’ve read losing 8.6 pounds in 10 days is unhealthy, what should I do to slow down my weight loss, I know the obvious answer but tracking everything you eat is extremely difficult.

I’m a college student so it’s hard to get the exact amount of calories I’m eating correct from the dining halls, and when I do track it I get an extremely low number of like 700.

Any advice would be appreciated, and no I don’t believe I have an ED.

Please give me your healthy but delicious recipes because all I keep finding are healthy but unflavorful recipes on Google

I just can't with these weight loss recipes. There is no flavor added, no spices other than salt and pepper, no cooking techniques to keep the meat tender, and absolutely no sauces.

I feel like these type of recipes are the reason why no one wants to lose weight. Looking at them makes me want to eat McDonalds instead of that.

The most common example I see is broiled chicken breasts, brown rice/quinoa, and broccoli, seasoned with salt and pepper.

As someone who really likes to eat really good food, I won't even entertain the thought of me eating that. Call me picky, I have standards and McDonalds is more appealing than that.

So, question for y'all. Does anyone have some good recipes that are 1.) healthy and 2.) will make me cry from how good it tastes? The internet gives me nothing.

In exchange, I will share my Beef Stroganoff in the comments. For 250 grams of it, you get about 300 calories. 250 grams will take most of the bowl. Your mileage will vary based on the type of ingredients you add. It is very filling and can be adjusted to have more protein and less noodles.
