Down 50 LBs, feeling motivated and happier

Hey all,

For the last few months, I (23m) begun heavily focusing on weight loss. The last 4 years I would fluctuate around 323 lbs, this was due to poor eating habits and mental health. I am now happy that I have successfully brought myself down to 271 lbs. I couldn't have done it without seeing the success stories on here. The motivation from surrounding yourself with people in a similar situation is astounding. I was scared, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with an A1C of 9.2. Within a year I've managed to completely get it under control with an A1C of 5.0. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and while I may be on medication to manage it, my activity has significantly improved my blood pressure. I am now averaging measurements of 110/65.

The biggest help for me has definitely been tracking my intake and going outside far more than I ever have in previous years. My goal is to hit 250 before May 2025, but I suspect I'll hit that goal well before May now. I'm really happy, and I hope my success can motivate someone going through a dark time.
