Is sucking on hard candy a good way to stop cravings?

I’m almost three weeks into dieting.

It’s weird because the first week was honestly the EASIEST. It’s slowly been getting harder to resist foods and even though I haven’t binged, I really am fighting bad urges tonight. I do eat balanced. I’ll have the odd cookie or some chips, but the cravings are just getting really bad I’m worried I will binge.

I was eating some warheads (those sour candy’s) yesterday. I had 2. 4 is 35 calories. I had one, both times I got cravings, and both times I noticed when I was sucking on those, my cravings entirely disappeared. I didn’t feel the need to go eat everything and I felt okay.

So in the process of trying to lose weight, would getting hard candy’s like lollipops to suck on be healthy for weight loss in the long term, or do you think I should fight the urges without little candy’s?

I’m craving all sorts of foods right now and it’s been so hard the last 3 days, I’m really stretching now. My motivation isn’t even gone, I still want to lose the fat really badly and I’ve been doing good, but I feel like I need help right now.
