I have recently started my weight loss/fitness journey in earnest. I've been limiting my calories to about 1300 calories a day and I am quite active (I walk about 8 to 10 miles a day and do light weight training and other things) and after a initial, sharp drop in weight my net loss has kind of flat-lined but I've lost a noticeable amount of body fat which I'm assuming is turning into muscle. My pants are getting more loose and my shirts are lying flatter over my stomach.
What are some strategies that one could use to psyche oneself up to continue working out and making lifestyle changes during such times? I'm thrilled I look slimmer and feel great but the numbers on the scale still bother me more than they should.
Stats: 32 F with a SW of 181, CW of 175 and GW of 115 here.
