Having lost 30lbs, my weight loss has stalled for quite a while now. From lurking on this sub and similar, I've noticed that calorie restriction can cause issues with plateau. Could this be part of my issue, and would anyone recommend increasing calories temporarily to boost the metabolism back up?
If so, what would people recommend I increase my calories too? I'm 5'4 and currently 180lbs. I was eating around 1-1200 cals a day. Would 1500/600 be enough to maintain without gaining back?
Would people also suggest increasing exercise levels to kinda counterbalance the higher intake? I usually do CICO so this would be my first instinct, but wonder if this would be defeating the point of the reset?
