Hi everyone! I was just wondering how everyone deals with a week where there hasn’t been much movement on the scales (if at all!). I’m a couple of weeks in and still trying to fine tune what I’m eating. I’m happy with my progress to date but this week has been pretty slow in regards to weight loss. I don’t think this is a plateau as I’m only a few weeks into CICO. I also hope I’m not eating too many calories. I try to stick around 1200-1400 however on a few occasions I’ve gone over that in a controlled way rather than having a binge. I don’t want to be too strict with my calories as I’m scared that I won’t stick to it. My goal is to try and get in the habit of eating in this range and then fine tuning it somewhat later on.
I also realise there are things that can cause some weeks to be slower with weight loss eg periods, low water intake etc.
I want to look at it positively rather than thinking I’ve messed it up even though I’ve put the effort in. So how do you guys positively look at it? Do you see maintenance some weeks as progress? Do you look at the achievement of having not had any binges? Just curious.
