Hey all, so this is my second time around losing a significant amount of weight. Back in 2017 I lost 80 pounds and managed to keep it off until this past 10 months or so, where I’ve gained 40ish pounds back. So I’m trying to shed these.
Back in 2017, AFTER I lost the weight, and started maintaining, I started to lose a lot of hair. I noticed it all over my floors and clothes all the time, huge clumps coming out during showering, and overall I could feel there was soo much less hair on my head.
Eventually, it did stop, but my hair hasn’t been the same since and it was a real confidence knock.
Well since I’ve been eating at a deficit, around a month now, I’ve noticed more hair beginning to fall out again!
I’m really worried this time it will be worse since it has started so early on, and I have less hair now than I did before.
My question is has anyone else had this happen to them? What are the remedies I can try for example has anyone used rogaine spray for women? Any vitamin/supplement recommendations?
Additional info: I’m a pescatarian and eat a ton of fruit and veg every day. I don’t take any medication. I’m eating around 1300 calories a day, a few hundred more on the weekends.
