So yesterday I finally made it to a "normal" BMI 24.9 I'm 173 after starting at a high of 220. While my goal weight is 168 I'm closing in it and now thinking about where do I go from there.
What sort of target do I set for my next goals?
Losing weight was pretty easy to identify a goal... It's just one simple number.
When I started losing weight, I didn't want to mix strength workouts with weight loss, so strength training will be my next area to focus on.
I'm just left wondering how to quantify it. Should I target pull ups - like 10? Some max weight lifting amounts? Bench 250, squat 350 etc? All of those?
So I'm around 50 yo so I need to target something realistic but will still help me improve. One cardio goal I'm going to state is I'd like to do a 5k in 27min or less but what about strength?
