I'm 18. Female. 5'0. And 57-58 kgs.
I'm not completely unhealthy, but borderline overweight, I need to lose some weight and get fitter. I'm also trying to overcome internet addiction for the 10000th time, so I'm trying to prioritise exercise. I have my exams right now, so it might take some time for me to start a proper regime, but I'll get there.
I used to work out regularly first, I haven't for the last 6 months, so I'm anxious to start again but better late than never, am I right? I here for some tips, since many of y'all must have gone through something like this before. I'll just list my observations regarding my lifestyle.
- So, I had tried Blogilates workouts, they were fun and kept me motivated, but I didn't end up losing any weight. So, I got discouraged and stopped. Now that I look back, I could've gained muscle and lost fat, idk.
- I even tried the Chloe Ting 2019 14 day shred. My mum said there were some improvements in my body. So, I guess I'll try to do that again?
- I recently did Day one of Chloe Ting's 2020 14 day shred, but my body can't take it, I think, I need to lose some weight cause my wrist can't bear my weight lol.
- I was thinking of running 30 mins daily and then doing 10 mins of strength training.
- I have noticed that I barely drink water. Probably that's why I'm not losing any weight? I'll try t drink more water.
- As far as my diet is concerned, my family cooks for me, so I can't make significant changes. Tho, I would say, our diet isn't bad at all. We've already made some alterations.
- Since I'm a university student, I tend to spend my entire day in front of a laptop, on a desk, so I think I should be sitting less, that could improve my shape.
- I even tried out the 'Buns of Steel' workout. Worked well, but I dropped it.
- FYI: My major areas of concern are: butt, lower belly, and outer+inner thighs. I'm comparatively tiny, so having extra weight on those areas makes me feel really heavy.
I can't think of anything else for now. Any tips on how I can lose some fat? Should I continue Chole Ting, resume Blogilates? Or is running 30 daily actually useful? What can I do? How should my sleep schedule be? Literally, anything is useful to me rn, thank you for all the help!
Also, I have bad skin (acne + pimples etc), so if y'all have some accessible tips for that, please drop them as well! (I think I just need to sit less and drink more water tho lol)
