Setting goals is important, but always be realistic

Though her field is unrealted, Interior Designer Lauri Howell discussed this in a recent interview. She talked about how every journey you go on, whether it's weight loss or otherwise, is a process, and nothing will ever go exactly as you plan. I think this is a great mindset for losing it. When I lost 100 pounds, my focus was on the steps along the way. 5 pounds, 10 pounds, sub 200, etc. I think this breeds the greatest path to success, so you don't get discouraged when every time you step on the scale, the numbers aren't exactly what you want to see.
