Hey there :)
I'm a student of applied physics with a (permanent) foot injury. Since I'm a coding, always sit-at home nerd and got quite lazy as a student I gained quite a lot of weight, in fact, going from 75 kg to 92 kg.
Now when I did eat less crap I got down to about 85 kg, before going up to 86.5 - 87 kg ish and staying there for a few months.
Since the start of the covid quarantine, about end of march, I have been walking more and more to lose weight. Where-as
normally I walked around 1 - 1.5 km a day,
In may I walked 3.1 km a day
In june 6.1 km a day
and so far in july 9 km a day.
Which lead to going from 86.5 to 81.5 now
(which, with 182 cm tall is technically a healthy weight, but I still feel fat to be honest)
First of all the question is, is walking a viable way to lose weight?
Second of all, if so, what would be better, walking 2 times 45 minutes, or 1.5 hours in 1 stretch?
Third question, I usually eat something in the evening since my parents eat very early (5pm, I sleep at 1 am), what is the latest I should eat?
Fourth: What is a realistic amount of weight loss per month?
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read :)
