Doesn’t Matter What I Do. I Cannot Lose Weight! Need Advice.

I have been the same weight nearly my whole life. An extra 20-30lbs around my midsection, and only my midsection!

I am a dietician, so I know exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. However, it seems like nothing has worked for me. I eat very healthy, low carb. Have adjusted my calories to create a deficit, have even tried eating more! My diet consists of lean protein, veggies and some fruits. Drink tons of water and sleep great! My hormones and thyroid is fine. I can never get the scale to budge more than 6lbs. Which I assume is just water weight.

The only possible thing I can think would be the problem is that my job is very sedentary. My business is online, so I spend 12-14 hours a day at a computer. But everything I’ve learned says that weight loss is from food. While exercise is important for health, what and how much you are eating ultimately contributes to weight loss. Could I really be carrying an extra 20lbs that doesn’t move because of inactivity? Does this happen to anyone else?!
